Pride is a movie where young black men come to gather and create a swimming team. In the movie the black men grow up in the hood playing basketball at a closing rex center. The boys don't go to school sometimes and drug dealers hang around them. Well one day someone comes out and takes there basketball hoop away and then a coach comes out and invites them to swim and play basketball in the pool. The boys later ask if they can start a swim team. the coach says ok if they go to school everyday and stay out of trouble. The boys go to a meet and they come in last place. They later start to win come in 2nd and 3rd in meets and they later end up going to the nationals to swim. But when they go to their swimming pool at PDR and the drug dealers are there and their using the restroom in the pool and they spray painted their hallways. The coach beats them up and then suspends him self from the nationals. PDR later goes and swims at the nationals and at the 2nd to last round they are losing by 5 points and in the end they win first place. This movie is really great. I rate this movie a 5 star and its a must see movie. The movie all send a good message to the viewers. Like PDR: Pride, Determination, and Reliance.
