Today I would like to talk about society. More specifically what society thinks beauty is. Have you ever heard the saying "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Well I'm not sure if that still applies today. Should it? Absolutely. The only problem is what society has come to think of what beauty is. I'd bet if you took a survey on all of the students of Festus Middle School about what they believe is beauty they'd all come up with similar answers. This would open the eyes of everyone as to what people think of as beauty. These days it's all about fitting in. If you don't fit in you get bullied and nobody wants that. All I'm trying to say is what is YOUR representation of beauty...not society's?
